China Yiwu Cultural Products Trade Fair was founded in 2006, and it was named "the most influential cultual industry brand exhibition in China " In 2010, it became the only national exhibition of foreign trade oriented which organized by the Ministry of Culture, People's Government of Zhejiang Province, Zhejiang Yiwu Cultural Affairs and Municipal Government .After years of development , Yiwu Fair successfully built up a cultural products trade (exports), the cultural industry exhibition, cultural exchange of information, an important platform for cultural cooperation projects.And it is one of the brand exhibition which was included in the key support of the Ministry of Culture during the "twelve five"
Since 9th, Yiwu Fair had a new organizer of China International Trade Promotion Committee , and officially changed its name to China (Yiwu) Cultural Products Trade Fair (referred to as "Chinese culture Fair") .After changing the name , the fair pays more attention to trade and effectiveness,adherence to the ideas of "market-oriented, professional and international" .Take "cultural products trade" as the core and "international standards" as the goal to have "a novelty , a bright spot, distinctive"exhibition on the basis of the original fair, and strive to make "Chinese culture Fair" become an important platform for China trade, an important window for Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges and the benchmark of "China's cultural industry"international trade. To promote structural adjustment and innovative the cultural products carrier .And finally promote the development of cultural industries and let the Chinese culture go out to all over the world .
Yiwu is located in the middle of Zhejiang, the city covers an area of 1105 square kilometers, population of local household registration is 753,300, registration number is 1595000 . Since the reform and opening up, Yiwu uphold and deepen the development strategy of "Business prosperity to build the city", built out its own characteristics, and scientific development way. Yiwu is listed as one of the country's reform and opening up 18 typical regions, in 2011 the State Council approved Yiwu as the comprehensive reform pilot area of International Trade, it is the first national comprehensive reform of our province, but also the tenth comprehensive reform pilot area in China . Relying on market advantage, Yiwu exhibition's economic developed rapidly , and it is known as "The most promising exhibition city of China." In 2009 Yiwu cultural industry production and sales number is more than 100 billion yuan, of which the core product categories of cultural worth is more than 200 billion yuan, with more than 10,000 production units, employing 300,000 members to formed a printing and packaging, Educational and Sports, frame painting process, pictures calendars, toys, entertainment products for leading six advantages specialty industries.
The 9th China (Yiwu) Cultural Products Trade Fair (referred to as "Chinese culture Fair") is organized by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Culture, Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, China International Trade Promotion Committee, and sponsored by the Zhejiang Province Department of Culture, Cultural Industry Association of Zhejiang Province China International Trade Promotion Committee branch of Zhejiang Province, Yiwu City People's Government. Hold at Yiwu International Expo Center on 27-30 April 2014, to create "cultural products trading platform to promote cultural industries across the development" for exhibition purposes . Target will be located more than 2,000 booths, the exhibition area of 50,000 square meters; strive to domestic and foreign buyers will be more than 90,000 people, including more than 6,000 foreign merchants, country (region) 100 or more; foreign trade team 30 participants or more, to show more effectiveness, turnover of 4.8 billion yuan more than the target, which accounted for more than 60% of foreign trade turnover.
